Mohamed Daoudi from the CRIStAL laboratory is developing an artificial intelligence decision support tool, which provides an overview of the face according to the dose of botulinum toxin injected. This application could be used in the case of unilateral facial paralysis: in this case, botulinum toxin is injected on the healthy side, in order to control the neurons which, by compensation, are hyperactive, and restore symmetry to the face.
