The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has been warning us for many years about the impact of our activities in terms of climate change. Locally, the University of Lille adopted an ecological transition plan in 2023 for the period 2023-2033. IT researchers are also interested in the consequences of their activities. We’ll be taking stock of the situation and outlining some ways in which we can better control our ecological footprint in our activities as researchers and in the digital domain.
