This conference is part of the Hauts-de-France alliance in Artificial Intelligence «humAIn» (Artificial Intelligence at the service of humans). This alliance was born from a collaboration between the CNRS, the Ecole Centrale de Lille, Inria, the IMT Lille-Douai, the University of Artois, the University of Lille, the University of Littoral Côte d’Opale, the University of Picardie Jules Verne, the Université Polytechnique Hauts de France aims to create a regional scientific animation on this theme, through a cycle of symposiums (6 to 8 times a year) on the various scientific components of artificial intelligence and its uses.
The first symposium will be an opportunity to discuss the different actions of this regional alliance, which aims to structure research in the region, to promote synergies between teams and themes, and to allow the development of original scientific themes, responding to the current major challenges of AI; but also to pool the means of communication and the visibility of AI research in the Hauts-Alpesde France, and to serve as an interface with industrialists, in particular for technology transfer aspects. In addition, the alliance will also provide support for the various applications for future funding tools in Artificial Intelligence.
The steering committee: Clarisse Dhaenens, Isabelle Herlin, Sébastien Konieczny, Christophe Lecoutre, Stéphane Lecoeuche, René Mandiau, Philippe Pernod, Denis Postel, Sébastien Verel.
