CNIL and Inria award the 2018 "privacy protection" prize.

At the 12th Computers Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) international conference, Pierre Laperdrix, Walter Rudametkin and Benoit Baudry were honored for their paper: “Beauty and the Beast: Diverting modern web browsers to build unique browser fingerprints”.

Walter Rudametkin is a lecturer at Polytech’Lille (Université Lille 1, France). His research focuses on computer engineering, notably within the Spirals project team at the CRIStAL research center. His work deals with self-adapting systems in general, and optimization and automatic repair in particular.
