Laurence Duchien elected for 2 years to the Executive Committee of the IEEE Technical Council on Software Engineering

Laurence Duchien, Professor of Computer Science at the Université de Lille Sciences et Technologies and member of the joint Spirals project-team with Inria within the UMR CRIStAL, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the IEEE Technical Council on Software Engineering (TCSE). The TCSE is the representative body for software engineering within the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society. The TCSE’s role is to promote software engineering, support conferences, research workshops, teaching, training and other activities that contribute to the development and advancement of academic and professional software engineering activities. Laurence Duchien was elected for a 2-year term, along with Grace Lewis, Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, and Ladan Tahvildari, Professor at the University of Waterloo.
