'Interdisciplinarity and Methodology' workshop

on July 1, 2025

Interdisciplinarity is not an end in itself, but a requirement for tackliong the increasingly complex problems facing scientific research. The Mission for cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary initiatives (MITI) of the CNRS is pleased to invite you to a two-day workshop to discuss this approach and the associated methods. This workshop is aimed at all researchers wishing to work on their interdisciplinary practices and gain a better understanding of the tools that can facilitate them. It is particularly suitable for those who already have experience of interdisciplinarity, who are planning to set up an interdisciplinary collaboration, or who have recently initiated one. The workshop will take place at the CNRS Campus in Gif-sur-Yvette (91) on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 July 2025. It will start on Tuesday at 10am and finish on Wednesday at 4.30pm.

This workshop will be based on a diversity of interactions and the active involvement of participants. As the number of places is limited, we would be grateful if you could let us know why you would like to attend via the form before midday on 13 May. MITI will pay for accomodation and meals (you will be responsible for your own travel costs).
