Euclid Consortium: first observations from the Euclid space telescope

The Euclid consortium, a collaboration of hundreds of scientists worldwide, unveils the first scientific results based on observations from the Euclid space telescope, designed to produce the most accurate map of our Universe. Exciting scientific results on the discovery of free-floating infant planets, new dwarf and faint galaxies, and the distribution of dark matter are described in a series of 10 scientific publications, of which Jenny Sorce, CNRS research fellow at the Centre de recherche en informatique, signal et automatique de Lille (CRIStAL - CNRS/Centrale Lille/Université de Lille), is one of the authors.
