How the University of Lille made Gaussin a leader in the autonomous port sector

Port vehicle manufacturer Gaussin Manugistique is entering the global autonomous port market with its container-carrying robots. The company owes this achievement to its collaboration with the CRIStAL laboratory at the University of Lille, and with Centrale Nantes, as part of the PSPC project known as Vasco. The origins of this success, however, can be traced back to CRIStAL’s research work on the European InTraDE project over ten years ago.
