In 2020, with the help of the CRIStAL Laboratory’s PIRVI team, Pauline de Chalendar diverts the new augmented interaction technology from the Grenoble-based company ISKN in partnership with Bandai Namco.
She is developing a digital exploration device that will make it possible to discover a 3D drawing, based on the high-relief La Danse by Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, by moving a virtual camera object over a model.
The sculpture is reinterpreted by the artist through virtual reality drawing on the program VAirDraw, then presented in a tangible and interactive form that aims to resonate the initial drawn gesture of Pauline de Chalendar with the exploratory gesture of the viewer.
Organized by the Atelier Arts Sciences, EXPERIMENTA is a fair where innovative projects at the crossroads of arts, science and technology are presented publicly.
