The virtual reality space of “The Open Reality Experience” (TORE) from Équipex IrDive was inaugurated on February 12, 2018 at Plaine Images in the presence of Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The device is based on a screen curved in both its 180° dimensions. With funding and support from the ERDF, PIA, MEL, CNRS, Université de Lille and Inria, the TORE screen will find applications in research and industry.
