The SigMA research team from the CRIStAL laboratory will be welcoming Eric Chassande-Mottin, researcher in astroparticles and cosmology (CNRS, APC, University of Paris Diderot). **He will explain ‘How was the first gravitational wave detected?
Eric Chassande-Mottin, who is responsible for analysing data from the VIRGO/LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Obsevatory) project, will present the stastistical and signal received by the two LIGO detectors in September 2014.
