Vasco: PIA funding to automate container transfer at port terminals

The Vasco port robotics project, involving the Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal et Automatique (Lille1) and the Institut de Recherche en Communications et Cybernétique (Nantes2), has been awarded 8.8 million euros under the Future Investment Program. The aim is to develop a fully automated system for transferring containers in port terminals.
