# Research Domain

My primary research domain is the *computer algebra* and, more precisely, the elimination theory for systems of polynomial differential equations.

I spent years optimizing the algorithms used in the elimination theory and developing an open source software library, in order to widen the use of these methods (BLAD libraries). Since 2010, these libraries are incorporated to the scientific computation software MAPLE.

I get more and more interested in the applications of the differential elimination, essentially with respect to the modeling in cellular biology:

- numerical integration of differential-algebraic equations systems,
- parameters estimation of continuous time dynamical systems,
- the reduction of the deterministic models of systems of chemical reactions.
